The Indiana Pacers and every team in the league will have a special court for In-Season Tournament nights in its first inaugural season.
The Pacers court is using the same font as their new City Edition uniforms with Indy written in graffiti-style lettering across the court over the trophy for the tournament.
Zach Lowe reported on all of the new courts and broke it down over at ESPN.
The Pacers first game for the In-Season Tournament is Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who they beat on Saturday while they were short-handed.
The other teams in their group include the Pistons, Sixers, and Hawks. Tournament nights are from November 3rd through December 9th on Tuesdays and Fridays. Every NBA game on these days will be part of group play.
8 teams (four from each conference) will advance from group play to make it into the stage stage, the knockout rounds.
The Pacers rarely have alternative courts. This one in particular with mostly maligned City uniforms as inspiration feels like an eye sore and mostly just makes me wish they would have ever made a court (or warmups) to go with the Hickory uniforms whose novelty wore off quickly and so badly clashed with the Pacers traditional colors.
