Indiana Pacers Injury Report: Aaron Nesmith and Ben Sheppard updates

Good and bad news from Rick Carlisle on the Indiana Pacers injury report ahead of tonight’s home opener against the Dallas Mavericks.

The good news: Aaron Nesmith is back and playing after missing the season opening win over the Pelicans with a hamstring strain. He will come off the bench as Jarace Walker gets the nod for the start.

The bad news: Ben Sheppard suffered a left meniscus injury in the second half against the Pelicans and he will miss some time with Carlisle saying their isn’t a definitive timeline but that it could be a few weeks.

Still no update on a timeline for TJ McConnell who is also dealing with a hamstring injury and missed all of the preseason contests as well as the opener. Outside of that only Johnny Furphy is listed on the injury report as he continues to rehab from last season’s ACL injury.
