Pacers, Mavs finalizing deal to send Jeremy Evans to Indiana

Woj is reporting another trade is in works for Indiana as they are acquiring Jeremy Evans from the Dallas Mavericks.

The Pacers are receiving cash and Evans in the deal. The Pacers are sending the rights to Stanko Barac to the Mavs, an overseas player that the Pacers are never likely to sign to an NBA contract after drafting him in the second round years ago.

Evans is perhaps most well known for being a Slam Dunk contest winner (though he robbed Paul George). He averaged 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in limited minutes last year.

The Pacers roster (if no players are traded in the deal) now sits full at 15 players if they sign rookie Georges Niang.
