Myles Turner is out for at least the next two games with a concussion

The Pacers announced last night that Turner was questionable with a sore neck for the team’s game against the Portland Trailblazers.

Now, it seems that Turner has developed symptoms of a concussion and will miss both of team’s next two games before he’s re-evaluated later this weekend.

There’s no timetable for his return at this time.

Coach Nate McMillan said that Domantas Sabonis will start with Turner out. Turner’s injury occurred on a cross screen in the opener. He was elbowed in the head by DeMarre Carroll at one point, but played through it.

Turner opened his third season with 21 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks.
