Victor Oladipo has racked up the awards and honors for his breakout debut season with the Indiana Pacers. At the NBA Awards show, he earned his latest: The Most Improved Player.
Oladipo averaged career highs in nearly every category with the Pacers as he ascended to his All-Star status. He was also named to All-NBA Third Team and First-Team All Defense during the playoffs.
Oladipo received 99 of a possible 101 first-place votes for this award (Clint Capela and Spencer Dinwiddie each received one). Domantas Sabonis got a pair of second-place votes for Most Improved.
He’s the fifth Indiana Pacers player to win the award joining Jalen Rose, Jermaine O’Neal, Danny Granger and Paul George.
