CYOA – Endgame 1.5.1

Defense falls off a cliff without Myles Turner

The roster really struggled to be even mediocre on the defense end without the rim protection of Myles Turner. That combined with already being behind the proverbial 8-ball before Haliburton was able to return meant the Pacers fell to 10th in lottery odds and outside of the play-in tournament. Isaiah Jackson provided some highlight blocks but isn’t consistently making the right decisions on defense quite yet. Toppin looks like he could a keeper and a nice find, quickly showing chemistry with Haliburton. Reddish continued his trend of being unable to gain consistent minutes for the third different team. You really wish the Fournier and Theis contracts didn’t have two more years left on them.
