Close, but no playoffs

Unfortunately, the Pacers had dug themselves into too deep of a hole to get out of by the time Tyrese Haliburton returned. You make the play-in tournament but fall short of your goal of making into the first round. The team does gain some experience playing in an important do-or-die game but it’s a disappointing finish to the season. You go into the offseason still with hopes of improving your roster through the draft.
